Rubina Gasparyan graduated from the Yerevan State Teacher Training Institute of Russian and Foreign Languages in 1992. In 2000 she completed her graduate studies towards MA TEFL at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and received her MA in TEFL in 2001 from AUA.

She teaches Freshman Seminar, Language Assessment, mentors Practicum and Internship students and advises MATEFL students writing their capstones.
