Michael Andrews Bashan

Michael Bashan is a career educator, meaning he doesn’t really want to do anything other than teach. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English/secondary education and specializes in writing instruction. Over the last 10 years he, his diplomat wife, and their two daughters have lived in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Washington, DC, USA, and now Yerevan. He joined the AUA faculty in 2016 and loves both teaching at AUA and living in Armenia. He sings. He believes in the notion of Aristotelian virtue, that a thing is best when it is most useful.
