Armine Abrahamyan (Artistic Name: Armine Anda)

Armine Abrahamyan graduated from The Armenian Pedagogical University majoring in Mathematics and The University of Drama majoring in Directing & Acting. She had post-graduate studies in Pedagogy.

She started her career with lead roles in theatre and making a TV show for children telling her stories. Her short films received international awards. JOAN AND THE VOICES, a feature film co-written & produced by her with the title role played by her, had its world premiere in Busan IFF in South Korea and its festival run in 12 countries. She has roles in Armenian & foreign films, and Best Supporting Actress Nomination in the Armenian Cinema Awards. She received Orange Book Award for her fantasy novel THE INHABITANTS OF ANKIMURE. She illustrates her books. Her publications include stories, drama, creative non-fiction and action research.
